The US President Donald Trump revealed new targeted sanctions against Chinese officials on Friday 29 May 2020. Moreover, he asked his administration to withdraw special trade exceptions for Hong Kong. Also, the phase 1 trade deal would remain unbroken.
Trump said that new Visa restrictions shall be imposed on Chinese officials who are suppressing the freedom of Hong Kong. The new sanction and visa restrictions came into picture because of the recent national security bill for Hong Kong.
President Donald Trump also said, China has individually levied control over Hong Kong security.
Other than this, Trump also announced that the US would end its relationship with WHO and claimed that it is being controlled by China.
