The Australian share market today ended in the green zone. The benchmark index S&P/ASX200 finished at 6167.6, up by 0.72 per cent as compared to yesterday's closure of 6,123.4. Total Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours are reported to be 226.
On Tuesday, NASDAQ Composite was up by 0.73 per cent, Dow Industrials was down by 0.24 per cent, and the S&P 500 surged by 0.23 per cent.
The commodity section today at AEST 3:15 PM - the Australian Dollar was up by 0.15 per cent; it was trading at AUD 0.7251, gold dipped by 0.70 per cent and was trading at USD 1988.22. At the same time, Crude oil dropped by 0.72 per cent and was trading at USD 42.81 a barrel.
The stocks that exceeded others in today's trading session are:
- WiseTech Global Limited (ASX:WTC)was the top gainer today which settled at AUD 27.87 and was up by 33.93 per cent. WTC today announced its FY20 results, including revenue up by 23 per cent, and EBIDTA increased by 17 per cent.
- G8 Education Limited (ASX:GEM)remained the second top gainer. It traded at AUD 0.965 and was up by 12.21 per cent.
The stocks that performed the least today are:
- Resolute Mining Limited (ASX:RSG) traded at AUD 1.11 and was dipped by 17.47 per cent.
- Nearmap Ltd. (ASX:NEA)traded at AUD 2.37, and was down by 11.57 per cent.
