Afterpay Touch Confirms and Provides Final Audit Report to AUSTRAC

Afterpay Touch Group Limited (ASX: APT) has confirmed that the Final Audit Report in respect of Afterpay Pty Ltd from the external independent auditor, Mr Neil Jeans, has been received and provided to AUSTRAC in accordance with the AUSTRAC Notice.

  • The Report implies matters of historic non-compliance by APT and makes recommendations in relation to its ongoing AML/CTF compliance;
  • The Report also mentions that most of these matters have been addressed, with the rest covered in the recommendations;
  • The company fully accepts and is actioning all recommendations from the Independent Auditor.

At AEST 1:06PM, the stock was trading at $33.15 per share, up by 8.7% from its previous close.
