As per the latest release from ABS, over the period of seven weeks from mid-March to early May 2020, there was a drop in the total payroll job by 7.3%.
The largest job losses during this period in percentage term was from Victoria and New South Wales. The job losses in these locations were 8.4% and 7.7% respectively.
