A Quick Look at ABS Updates

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has recently released the following updates on different economic parameters:

  • In November 2019, beef production rose by 1.2 per cent to 210,300 tonnes relative to October 2019 and increased by 8.9 per cent against November 2018.
  • In September quarter 2019, the number of total dwelling units commenced dropped by 11.7 per cent to 40,746 dwellings in seasonally adjusted terms.
  • The value of total engineering construction work done improved by 0.5 per cent to $21,434.6 million in seasonally adjusted terms.
