* SAID ON TUESDAY ITS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CPB CONTRACTORS, IN JOINT VENTURE WITH JOHN HOLLAND AND GHELLA, WAS SELECTED TO DELIVER SYDNEY METRO WEST – EASTERN TUNNELLING PACKAGE

* CPB CONTRACTORS IS 40% JOINT VENTURE PARTNER DELIVERING $1.63 BILLION (1.58 BILLION EUROS) PROJECT

* CONSTRUCTION WILL COMMENCE IN 2023 AND IS SCHEDULED FOR COMPLETION IN 2025

* SYDNEY METRO WEST WILL DELIVER NEW UNDERGROUND RAIL CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CBDS OF PARRAMATTA AND SYDNEY

* WORKS TO BE DELIVERED UNDER EASTERN TUNNELLING PACKAGE INCLUDE 3.5 KILOMETRES OF METRO TUNNELS BETWEEN FUTURE STATIONS AT THE BAYS AND HUNTER STREET IN SYDNEY’S CBD AND EXCAVATION OF CAVERNS AND SHAFTS AT PYRMONT AND HUNTER STREET STATIONS
