Highlights
- Gold prices remain resilient, up ~31% in six months despite recent volatility.
- Rush Gold Corp is advancing high-potential gold and silver assets in Nevada.
- Exceptional sampling returns include up to 2.41 g/t gold and 2,770 g/t silver.
- Skylight property hosts widespread anomalous gold-silver mineralisation.
- Hyland target has been identified as priority drill area with defined strike length.
Gold markets continue to draw strong long-term interest following a standout 2025, during which the precious metal surged to multiple all-time highs and delivered robust returns. This performance was supported by persistent geopolitical uncertainties, inflationary concerns, and sustained demand for safe-haven assets.
While recent volatility—driven by rising oil prices, a firmer US dollar, and shifting interest rate expectations—has weighed on prices, the broader outlook for gold remains closely tied to macroeconomic conditions and global risk sentiment. Notably, gold prices have gained approximately 31% over the past six months. Silver, too, continues to follow a long-term upward trend with recent corrections reflecting broader market adjustments rather than a shift in underlying fundamentals.
Positioned to Capitalize on Precious Metals Momentum
Against this backdrop, exploration companies are advancing project developments to align with evolving market dynamics.
One such company, Rush Gold Corp (CSE:RGN), a Canadian exploration company, is advancing its gold and silver assets in Nevada—one of the world’s most prolific mining jurisdictions.
The company is progressing toward a Phase One exploration program targeting high-priority geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Through disciplined exploration and strategic focus, the company aims to unlock value across its assets while aligning with precious metals market trends.
Nevada Exploration Update: Promising Early Results
Rush Gold is focused on advancing its Skylight gold property in Nevada’s Republic Mining District. The company recently reported encouraging results from its 2025 surface rock geochemical sampling program across its Legal Tender and Skylight properties, located approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Tonopah, Nevada.
A total of 94 rock grab samples were collected, including 60 from Legal Tender and 34 from Skylight.
Key highlights include:
- gold values above 0.1 grams per tonne, with results reaching up to 2.41 g/t gold at Legal Tender.
- silver values above 20 g/t, with a peak of 2,770 g/t silver.
Legal Tender: High-Grade Target Emerges
At the Legal Tender property, the Hyland target has been identified as a priority area for drilling.
Sampling returned silver assays of 2,770 g/t, 292 g/t, and 105 g/t, alongside gold values of up to 2.41 g/t.
These high-grade results highlight the area’s potential and support further targeted exploration.
Skylight: Expanding Mineralisation Footprint
At the Skylight property, sampling outlined anomalous gold and silver values across a 1.2-kilometre north-south trend. Reported values include gold assays of up to 0.23 g/t with associated silver mineralisation.
Geological features observed at the site include quartz veining, hydrothermal clay alteration, and brecciated volcanic rocks. These characteristics are consistent with a low sulphidation epithermal environment, supported by elevated arsenic values.
The Skylight property spans approximately 330 acres with 16 claims, with Rush Gold holding an option to earn full ownership. Located within a historically active mining region, the project represents the company’s primary focus.
A capital raise of $450,000 through its IPO provides funding to advance upcoming exploration programs. Listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange since June 2025, the company continues to build market visibility as it advances exploration across its Nevada gold-silver portfolio, aligning project development with prevailing precious metals market conditions.
