Canadian mining exploration company Rush Gold Corp. (CSE:RGN) (FSE: B6H; OTCQB: RGNCF) marked an important milestone as its common shares commenced trading on the OTCQB® Venture Market in the United States under the symbol “RGNCF”. The company’s shares will continue trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol “RGN”.
The company also obtained eligibility for electronic settlement through the Depository Trust Company (DTC), which enables clearing and settlement of trades through the U.S. clearing system.
“The commencement of trading on the OTCQB represents an important milestone for Rush,” said Anthony Zelen, Director and CEO. “Together with our Canadian Securities Exchange and Frankfurt listings, this U.S. listing expands investor access across key global markets. The U.S. market provides access to a significantly larger investor base, and the OTCQB listing makes it easier for U.S. investors to trade Rush Gold shares.”
Expanding Investor Reach
Rush Gold stated that the OTCQB listing aligns with its strategy to broaden global investor participation, improve trading accessibility, and support share liquidity. Market participants can access trading and pricing information through the OTC Markets platform.
The OTCQB is recognized by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as an “established public market”. It is designed for the U.S. and international companies in the entrepreneurial and development stage.
Nevada Project Focus
Rush Gold is advancing its Skylight and Legal Tender gold and silver properties located in the Republic Mining District, Nye County, Nevada. In late November, the company mobilized field crews and initiated high-resolution satellite imaging programs across both properties as part of its early-stage exploration work.
Geologists are conducting ground reconnaissance activities while WorldView-3 satellite technology captures alteration imagery across the project areas. The properties are positioned approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Tonopah within Nevada’s Walker Lane structural trend, a geological corridor that hosts 16+ million ounce gold discovery near Beatty.
The current field program is designed to evaluate existing gold and silver geochemical anomalies and confirm alteration patterns identified through satellite data. These indicators may help identify potential epithermal gold-silver systems.
Funding
Rush Gold has also completed an expanded private placement totalling $500,000 to fund its exploration activities. The company continues to progress technical assessments at its Nevada assets while advancing its exploration programs.
The OTCQB listing, together with Rush Gold’s ongoing Canadian market presence, supports the company’s strategy to broaden investor access while advancing early-stage exploration activities in Nevada. With field programs underway and funding in place, the company remains focused on progressing technical evaluation across its project portfolio and building long-term shareholder value.
