The MSAR technology is low viscosity oil-in-water emulsified synthetic HFO that enables refiners to generate higher value from the bottom of the barrel through the use of proprietary, modular blending systems and non-polluting that can be installed within a year. It enables viscous refinery residues to mix with smaller amounts of specialist chemicals and water that result in emulsion consist of 30% water and less than 1% chemicals. The MSAR burns completely as the hydrocarbon droplets are pre-atomised, leaving no carbon as residue. The bioMSAR fuel combines MSAR technology with renewable glycerine to manufacture, low carbon alternatives to biofuel and HFO. The company’s proven proprietary technology is used to mix heavy residual glycerine and oils with small amounts of specialist water and chemicals to produce bioMSAR.
