Description

Stroud Resources Ltd. is a junior natural resource mining company mainly in the business of identification, acquisition, exploration, and development of precious metal properties throughout Mexico and Canada. The company was incorporated in March 1983 under the leadership of George Coburn, the founder, and the former Chief Executive Officer.

The diminishing base metal prices and sudden demise of the CEO in 2013 was a low for the company. But the board stabilized the business and redirected its focus towards the Santo Domingo Project.

Stroud Resources Ltd. is a public corporation listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, with its common shares trading under the ticker symbol SDR. The Toronto-based mineral exploration company holds a 100 per cent ownership stake in the Santo Domingo Property with net smelter royalties (NSR) of less than US$3.5 million.

The Santo Domingo Project consists of silver-infused epithermal mineralization with two mineral claims, including:

The above claims are located in Hostotipaquillo with mineral and surface rights encompassing a total area of 135 hectares. The project is situated at a distance of 100 kilometers north of Guadalajara, in Jalisco (Mexico).

The property is equipped with a road network, international airport, an available workforce, power lines, water supply (from the nearby river) and other infrastructural facilities serviced by nearby towns and cities. In March 2021, the company launched Phase I and Phase II of the drilling program at the project site.

The first phase includes drills of nearly 3,000 meters with 12 drill holes. The second phase includes the drilling of 38 new drill holes. Stroud Resources is focused on conducting exploration and drilling work to discover, evaluate and exploit prospective target areas to expand its mineral resources potential.
