It was founded in the year 1984 as Matchmaker Personnel, and later was merged with its engineering-focused brand Matchtech Engineering Ltd and Matchtech Group was created in 2002. In 2016, Matchtech Group rebranded itself as Gattaca, after the integration of Networkers into the business. The headquarters of the company are situated in Fareham, United Kingdom. It helps UK-based and international companies realise their full potential by providing them with outsourced staffing solutions as well as other services related to recruitment. It is engaged in permanent and contract recruitment services in both private and public sectors. After acquiring Networkers in 2015, the company has been able to increase its geographical footprint, and has recruited and placed candidates in over 100 countries and supports them whenever needed. The focus areas of the company are technology and engineering markets. The company is listed and traded on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange since 2006.
