Realised Gain or Loss

  • Updated on
Realised Gain or Loss could be defined as the profit or loss of a trader or investor post squaring off the current position in the market. Once traders or investor instigate any trade in the market, the fluctuation in profit or loss due to change in the prices of an asset is an unrealised profit or loss, until the buyer/seller of an asset takes the opposite position in the market.
