Is GETTR publicly traded & can you buy its stock?

GETTR is not listed on any stock exchange in the world, hence, it is not a publicly traded company. The social media company continues to remain private and interested investors cannot buy the GETTR stock.

Notably, GETTR has not announced any initial public offering (IPO) plans as of now and interested traders will have to wait.

Bottom line

GETTR could become popular as Twitter is increasing its censorship. Many noted personalities, including Mr Trump were banned for their controversial tweets on the microblogging platform.

Mr Rogan will remain on Twitter but as he is sceptical about the censorship, he has shifted to GETTR.

The social media platform is gaining momentum among conservatives and according to GETTR’s website, it was created to combat censorship.

GETTR claims that it will give back the freedom of speech to social media users and will stand up against the big tech companies to fight for right to free speech and combat political censorship.
