Palladium One Mining Inc is a publicly traded exploration and development company engaged in the production of palladium, nickel and copper.
Its principal palladium asset includes Lantinen Koillismaa Project in Finland, also known as the LK Project. Another important project is the Tyko Property in Ontario.
On April 4, 2019, the company went through a share consolidation on a 1:2 basis wherein its issued and outstanding common shares altered from 51,730,553 common shares to 25,865,276 common shares without par value. Following this, the firm also announced a name change from Nickel One Resources to Palladium One Mining and its ticker symbol on the TSXV changed from ‘NNN’ to ‘PDM’.
The mining firm says that the previous work at the Tyko property indicates a high potential for nickel-copper and platinum group mineralization. The property is located 25 kilometer north of Hemo mining complex in North-West Ontario. The project has efficient infrastructure in the form of access to road, trail, and powerlines, the exploration firm claims.
In addition, the claim package at the property consists of 11.2 kilometers of land area.
The firm wholly owns the LK project, a palladium project, located around 40 kilometers north of the company’s exploration office in Taivalkoski. The project is completely owned by Palladium One Mining.
It is a flagship asset of Palladium One Mining Inc and is divided into sub-groups associated with different exploration permit renewals, new applications and exploration reservation applications.
The groups that cover the exploration permits are
• Kaukua Group: Murtolampi and the Kaukua targets
• Haukiaho Group: Salmivaara, Lipeävaara, and Haukiaho, targets.
These exploration permit areas are spread in an area of 2485.3 hectares. Apart from the exploration reservation permits, it further covers an additional 1351.5 hectares of land area.
On June 23, 2021, the exploration company drilled 164 lbs/tonne 7.4% NI_Eq (nickel equivalent) and 224 lbs/tonne 10.2% NI_Eq at the Tyko Nickel-Copper Project.
The company has been developing its exploration projects in both Lantinen Koillismaa Project and the Tyko property.
Palladium One mining says that multiple nickel and palladium discoveries are present at exploration permit areas in the Tyko Nickel property.
In August 2019, Palladium One acquired the Shabotik Zone, expanding its Tyko Sulphide Ni-Cu-PGE project in Ontario, Canada.
