Falco Resources Ltd. is a publicly traded mineral exploration entity with the robust flagship Horne 5 deposit. The exploration company is focused on precious and base metals and leverages its strong enviable land position in Abitibi.

Falco Resources Ltd. boasts an experienced management team in project financing. The Horne property was discovered in 1923 and initial production on the site began in 1927.

Falco Resources acquired the historical Horne mines in September 2012. The company completed digitization compilation of historical drill results on the Horne mine by August 2013.

In March 2014, the mining company announced a resource estimate on Horne 5 and by 2015, the drilling program was confirmed. In 2016 Falco Resources published a new pre-economic assessment and updated new geological resources.

In 2017, the company filed for a feasibility study and in 2018, for an environmental impact assessment. Falcon has been at permitting/financing and preconstruction phase since 2019. Falco holds around 67,000 hectares of exploration land around the Horne mine in Abitibi.

According to the company’s claims the Horne 5 project is supposed to be the most technologically advanced and efficient hard-rock underground mine in North America. The project is associated with low-grade VMS polymetallic deposit that is favorable to bulk mining methods.

Estimated average payable gold production per year is expected to be 219,000 oz. The project benefits massively from its closeness to public services like a bypass route, industrial park, railway and regional electrical substation.
