Discovery Harbour Resources Corp (TSXV: DHR) is a Vancouver-based mining company that explores, develops, and acquires gold mineral properties such as gold in Canada.
The mineral exploration firm aims to create long term value for its shareholders. It focuses on a heap leach mine known as the Caldera project.
Discovery Harbour Resources says that the Caldera Project can become an extensive low sulfidation epithermal gold deposit.
It is situated less than 50 kilometers near Round Mountain mine of Kinross Gold. Caldera lies in Northumberland and Walker Lane Gold Belts, which is located NW Tonopah in Nevada.
In 2019, Kinross Gold's Round Mountain mine generated 361,000 ounces independently, and consists of more than 16 million ounces of gold.
Discover Harbour owns this low sulfidation and epithermal-style deposit.
The mineral exploration firm acquired this property in 2016. It covers 30 square kilometers.
The company has produced 33 targets and presented an operation plan to drill-test up to ten separate sites to the desired intensity. The mining firm has recognized eight distinct areas, including Barak, Darius, Faustus, Calista, Adara, Gemina, Electra, and Harmonia.
Each zone consists of one to eight discrete targets. The Adara area comprises Golden King Mine and eight targets.
In March 2021, the company declared an option and earn-in agreement on the Fortuity 89 property. It is a joint venture project with Newcrest Mining’s wholly subsidiary, Newcrest Resources Inc.
Newcrest Mining Limited is a gold mining company that acquires and operates exploration projects in the Americas and Asia-Pacific.
Fortuity 89, covered in 34 square kilometers, is an early-stage epithermal gold deposits.
Both Caldera and Fortuity 89 are situated in southwestern Nevada, a high-grade mineralized zone consisting of numerous mines and deposits in Walker Lane and Northumberland Gold Trends.
It is located west of Caldera’s project in approximately four kilometers. In addition, it is listed on TSXV, OTC Market, FSE under ‘DHR’, ‘DCHRF’, and '4GW’ tickers.
