Benchmark Metals Inc is a mining company primarily engaged in the exploration and development of precious metal properties, such as gold (Au) and silver (Ag).

Benchmark Metals Inc is publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the stock quote of ‘BNCH’.

Benchmark Metals is focused on the discovery, evaluation, acquisition, exploration, and development of mining assets.

Currently, the company has a 100 percent stake in the Lawyers Property.

The firm’s flagship asset, Lawyers project, is a gold-silver (Au-Ag) project spread in a total area of approximately 140 square kilometers in the Golden Horseshoe region in British Columbia.

The property consists of polymetallic porphyry and epithermal mineralization structures. The project hosts three deposits and more than 20 prospective areas along the 20 kilometers trend.

The firm says that the exploration operations dates to 1960s. It further claims that between 1989-1992 nearly 171,200 ounces of gold (Au) and 3.6 million ounces of silver (Ag) was produced. It also adds that the property has not been mined to its full potential.

Benchmark Metals claims that past infrastructure worth $50 million remains at the Lawyers Project, including road connectivity.

The mining firm says that 2021 drilling program resulted in potential gold and silver production at the past-producing zones, namely AGB and Cliff Creek.

In addition, the new drilling program also depicts the unidentified and unexplored bulk tonnage mineralization comprising high-grade gold and silver.

Benchmark Metals Inc also operates various other projects, including Diamond Permits and Contwoyto property in Nunavut, Northern Canada.

In an official release on July 7, 2021, Benchmark Metals Inc outlined a detailed exploration plan for two Au-Ag targets at the Lawyers Property: the Marmot Discovery and the Marmot East Prospect.

Apart from the TSXV, the Edmonton- based mineral exploration company is also listed on the WKN market and OTCQX under the stock symbols ‘A2JM2X’ and ‘BNCHF’, respectively.
