Advance Gold Corp is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition of precious metals, minerals such as lithium and fertilizer minerals.

It is junior exploration firm listed on TSX Venture under ‘AAX’ as stock quote.

In March 2021, the mining company acquired a test plant, a proprietary extraction method and 13 lithium-potassium-boron salars in Central Mexico. The salars discovered are significant as they can be useful in lithium recovery over short time periods, the firm claims.

The company aims at developing low-cost and high-quality lithium mines and processing facilities that meet ESG standards and provide clean solutions to the global economy.

Further in March 2021, the exploration firm included lithium salars to its portfolio.

The company owns 11.45 per cent stake in Kakamega advanced gold project in Kenya. The remaining majority share of the project is held by Shanta Gold. Shanta gold bought its stake from Barrick Gold, a global mining firm.

The joint venture between Advance Gold and Shanta gold consists of interest in the Rosterman Mine and seven gold bearing reefs.


The mining firm has 100 per cent stake in the Venaditas polymetallic project and Tabasquena silver mine. The company had drilled 23 holes at Tabasquena project to extract anomalous to high-grade gold and silver mineralization, reportedly. The mining and exploration company is reportedly planning to conduct further geophysics mapping and petrographic studies before drilling additional holes in the property to better understand the jurisdiction and its actual potential.

Vanaditas polymetallic project is located in the state of Zacatecas in Mexico, which is one of the world’s significant silver mining districts. Zacatecas hosts around 10 per cent of the total global silver production.

The company aims to leverages operational efficiency through the location of its projects in the mining friendly jurisdiction.

Advance Gold Corp claims that Kenya is an under explored jurisdiction with high potential.

The mining firm aims to tap viable opportunities in mineral exploration market and add value to its portfolio through future joint venture partnerships.

According to the company, the Tabasaquena mine has access to efficient infrastructure with roads and power grid.
