The production facilities are located in Cusco in Peru and Canada's northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan region. In addition, the US properties consists of two premier projects in Arizona and Nevada.

Hudbay Minerals operations began with an interest in mining property in the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt area, Manitoba.

The company owns 777 mine, a polymetallic-underground mine, in Manitoba. The daily ore mined at the facility is approximately 3,000 tons per day, the Canadian company claims.

Hudbay Minerals Inc is focused on expansion and exploration in the Snow Lake region, Manitoba.

Rosemont Mine is a copper open pit mine with 19 years of mine life.

The company claims to achieve an annual production level of 127,000 tons in the first ten years of commencement of the operations.

The mining firm acquired the Manson deposit in 2018. It is a greenfield copper deposit and reportedly one of the most underdeveloped resources in the Americas. The measured and indicated resources reportedly are pegged at 2.2 billion tons.

Hudbay Minerals acquired the Constancia project in 2011, an open-pit sulfide copper mine in Peru.

The property includes a high-grade satellite deposit. In 2018, the copper producer acquired various properties near Constancia for smooth exploration prospects within trucking distance of the processing facility, it claims.

As of the 2020 fiscal year, the Constancia project reported production was 73,150 tons of copper, 12,395 ounces of gold and 1,622,972 ounces of silver.

The copper and zinc operations reportedly contribute significantly to Hudbay Minerals' revenue.
