Pulp & Paper category
The holding company provides bleached and unbleached softwood pulp, bleached kraft, coloured kraft, unbleached kraft, etc. It also provides a suite of technology-based solutions for pulp quality management under the brand Mihari.
Canfor Energy produces green and bioenergy products in lumber and pulp facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia. The operations consist of converting sawmill residues into industrial-grade fuel pellets, which reportedly reduces waste and are a source of biomass energy. The energy division operates two manufacturing units: PEFC, SBP (Sustainable Biomass Program), and GGL (Green Gold Label) certified.
The company owns manufacturing facilities in British Columbia, Alberta, and the South-eastern United States that reportedly produces high-quality dimension lumber, value-added products, and quality pulp and paper.
In 2019, Canfor Corporation was reportedly among BC Top Employers for maintaining an exceptional workplace environment.
The Canadian company also holds nearly 11.7 cubic meters of annual harvesting rights under pulp agreements and forest tenures in the country.
The forestry-based company has a 100 per cent stake in Canadian Forest Products Ltd, a pulp, lumber, wood chips, and logs manufacturer. It further holds 54.8 per cent interest in Canfor Pulp Products Ltd.
In addition, it provides wood chips, engineered wood products, lumber, etc., through its wholly-owned subsidiary Canfor Southern Pine Inc.
