Gas Monkey NFTs are the digital assets of Gas Monkey Garage, which is a seller of t-shirts, car detailing items, etc. and is looking to enter the virtual world of metaverse, The NFT collection is being touted as the entity’s foray into Web 3.0. Richard Rawlings, who is popular as the star of show Fast N’ Loud, is behind the NFT collection.

As per Gas Monkey Garage, a total of 5,000 NFTs representing hand-drawn cars will be released in the near future. The NFTs are inspired by pop culture icons, supercars, and other related things. The collection of unique hand-drawn art can be seen at the official website of Gas Monkey NFTs.

When will Gas Monkey NFTs be up for sale?

There is no announcement yet in this respect. The website mentions that the date of minting and that of public sale can be announced soon.

For now, Gas Monkey Garage is inviting enthusiasts to participate in the whitelist, which can assure the user of minting of Gas Monkey NFTs. The eventual holders of these NFTs can vote on certain aspects like giveaways. Merchandise will also be offered to asset holders, it is said. It is also being said that one winner can win a custom car built by the company.

It is further mentioned that participants who fail to make it to the whitelist can buy Gas Monkey NFTs in the subsequent public sale.

Expensive NFTs

While Gas Monkey NFTs are yet to be launched in the open market, some previous artworks have sold as NFTs for high prices. These include Beeple’s Everydays, and Human One, and some of CryptoPunk and BAYC NFTs. Another artist Pak is also popular in the NFT circle.

Artist Takashi Murakami, whose NFT collection is available on OpenSea, recently apologised to fans. His NFT collection has failed to repeat the success of Beeple and Pak.
