Description:

Innate Pharma {NASDAQ:IPHA} has announced the appointment of Jonathan Dickinson as the new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, effective November 1, 2024. Dickinson's extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors positions him well to lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Previously, Dickinson served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Europe at Incyte, where he was instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and expanding the company's presence in the European market. His leadership background includes significant roles at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and a 13-year tenure at Hoffmann-La Roche. This diverse experience in both large pharmaceutical companies and biotech firms equips Dickinson with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, particularly in the areas of drug development and market expansion.

As he steps into this pivotal role, Dickinson will succeed Hervé Brailly, the co-founder of Innate Pharma, who has been serving as the interim CEO. Brailly will remain with the company in an advisory capacity, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership and continuity in the strategic direction of the organization.

Dickinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and an MBA from the University of Nottingham, providing him with a strong foundation in both scientific and business principles. His appointment is aimed at accelerating the advancement of Innate Pharma's immuno-oncology pipeline, an area of strategic focus for the company as it seeks to deliver innovative therapies to patients.

With Dickinson at the helm, Innate Pharma is well-positioned to strengthen its commitment to developing cutting-edge cancer treatments and to drive future growth in the competitive biopharmaceutical landscape. The leadership transition marks a significant step forward for the company as it continues to build on its mission of improving patient outcomes through innovative therapies.
