US Markets: Broader indices in the United States traded in green - particularly, the S&P 500 index traded 90.03 points or 2.89 per cent higher at 3,202.38, Dow Jones Industrial Average Index expanded by 966.04 points or 3.68 per cent higher at 27,247.86, and the technology benchmark index Nasdaq Composite traded higher at 9,813.15, up by 197.34 points or 2.05 per cent against its previous day close (at the time of writing, before the U.S market close at 11:45 AM ET).
US News: Wall Street surged as report showed job additions in May, which raised hopes for a faster economic rebound. As per the Labor department report, the total employment increased by 2.5 million in May. Meanwhile, China said that delisting Chinese firms from US stock exchanges would eventually harm US interests. Among the gaining stocks, Boeing rose around 9.2 per cent as airline companies planned to boost its flight schedule next month. Novavax jumped over 7.2 per cent as it would receive around USD 60 million from the US Department of Defence for developing a COVID-19 vaccine candidate. Occidental Petroleum Corp and Exxon Mobil jumped 21.8 per cent, and 6.6 per cent, respectively as OPEC and its allies decided to meet for finalizing the oil-cut extension. Among the decliner, Gap Inc shed 4.5 per cent post reporting a quarterly loss of approximately USD 1 billion.

Top Performers*: American Airlines Group Inc (AAL), United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL), and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NCLH) shares increased by 33.31 per cent, 21.02 per cent and 20.52 per cent, respectively.
Non Performers*: Newmont Corporation (NEM), MSCI Inc (MSCI) and Clorox Co (CLX) shares decreased by 4.13 per cent, 2.90 per cent and 2.47 per cent, respectively.
NASDAQ Composite (IXIC)
Top Performers*: Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd (FRSX), Luckin Coffee Inc (LK) and Top Ships Inc (TOPS) shares expanded by 80.74 per cent, 53.09 per cent and 40.92 per cent, respectively.
Worst Performers*: Dolphin Entertainment Inc (DLPN), Cinedigm Corp (CIDM) and Titan Medical Inc (TMD) shares plunged by 37.20 per cent, 28.93 per cent and 22.29 per cent, respectively.

European Markets: The London’s broader equity benchmark index FTSE 100 traded at 142.86 points or 2.25 per cent higher at 6,484.30, the FTSE 250 index snapped at 403.36 points or 2.26 per cent higher at 18,229.32, and the FTSE All-Share Index ended 79.77 points or 2.27 per cent higher at 3,589.76, respectively. Another European index STOXX 600 ended up by 9.07 points or 2.48 per cent, at 375.32. Among other major European indices, DAX index closed the session at 12,847.68, up by 417.12 points or 3.36 per cent; CAC 40 index increased by 185.81 points or 3.71 per cent and ended the trading session at 5,197.79.
European News: London and European markets jumped with optimism over the swift economic revival as the European Central Bank’s stimulus bolstered the strength. Meanwhile, the UK house prices plunged for the third consecutive month in May due to COVID-19 restrictions. Following the rise in unemployment and falling housing prices, the British consumer confidence plummeted to the lowest in May since the global financial crisis over a decade ago. Among the gaining stocks, EasyJet and Carnival jumped over 8 per cent as the government relaxed some travel restrictions. Similarly, Taylor Wimpey rose around 4.8 per cent as it observed a surge in interest in buying homes. Premier Oil jumped 10.8 per cent post unveiling the issuance of discounted shares to ARCM hedge fund. Similarly, both BP PLC and Royal Dutch Shell PLC gained over 6.0 per cent, following the higher oil prices surge.
