In a recent update, it’s been announced that Jacinda Ardern the Prime Minister of the country has topped the Fortune Magazine’s world’s greatest leaders List. The list had the likes of Dolly Parton as her contenders but she seemed to have surpassed all of them and shone through.

One of the first and foremost reasons for her having won this title is her swift and efficient dealing with the gruesome pandemic and bringing the numbers under control before any other country in the world. This reflects in the fact that the nation that is 5 million people strong in population has witnessed merely 26 deaths due to the virus. Ardern along with her Cabinet Ministers decided to take 20% pay cut for the last year so as to stand in union with the people who had lost their livelihoods due to the Pandemic.
