Spectur Ltd (ASX:SP3), a leading developer of security solutions, has entered a three-year agreement with Transport NSW to provide advanced camera and analytics services. The contract, managed through Spectur’s subsidiary, 3 Crowns Technologies Pty Ltd, is valued at $787,428 for the initial term, with an option to extend up to nine years. The potential total value of the contract, if extended, would reach $2,632,284.

Under the terms of the agreement, Spectur will install and maintain live webcam systems equipped with night vision capabilities across 23 locations. This comprehensive service includes hardware supply, installation, maintenance, and data provisioning. A mobile trailer system is also part of the deployment, offering a versatile solution for dynamic security requirements.

The agreement outlines the potential for further expansion to additional locations, which could increase the value of the contract by $50,000 to $200,000 depending on the final scope. If confirmed, this would bring the total potential contract value to nearly $1.4 million.

Spectur’s Managing Director, Gerard Dyson, highlighted the significance of this deal, noting the growing importance of high-margin recurring revenue streams for the company. Dyson stated, “The portion of revenue coming from high gross margin recurring revenue continues to increase at Spectur, with current run rates in excess of 60% of total revenue.”

This agreement with Transport NSW reflects Spectur’s strategy of strengthening existing relationships and expanding its ecosystem. Dyson emphasized the flexibility and scalability of the Spectur platform, which supports integration with third-party artificial intelligence (AI), sensors, and other advanced technologies. These features make the platform adaptable to a wide range of customer needs and applications.

Spectur’s security solutions are increasingly recognized for their reliability and innovation. The company has built a strong foundation for growth through projects like this, which position it as a key player in the security technology space.
