Exploration at Raven Cu-Au Prospect

In July, the Raven Cu-Au prospect was identified through a ground truthing of a VTEM (Versatile Time Domain electromagnetic) anomaly. This discovery resulted in a gossan rich in Cu-Au with rock chip samples up to 26.7% Cu and 2.49g/t Au.

An initial drill test of three holes was concluded at the Raven prospect in early October. For assay results, click here.

Although drilling at the Raven prospect have been limited, CPM is positive about the potential for expansion because of the substantial size of the geochemical copper pXRF soil anomaly and the VTEM anomaly, modelled at ~400m long and steeply dipping.

The company informed that the VTEM anomaly fits well with the mineralisation seen to date. The mineralisation is open in all directions and the company plans to conduct a small follow up campaign over the new holes with downhole electromagnetic survey to assist drill targeting.

Brumby Ridge Cu-Au Prospect

The prospect is located near the Mafic Sweats South prospect.
