Mineral exploration company Ark Mines (ASX: AHK), which has fully owned assets in Northern Queensland has informed that Sandy Mitchell rare earths project drilling works would begin from next month. Notably, the company has a drilling agreement with Saxon Drilling for the area where now shallow air core drilling is planned. AHK has also said that the former augur drilling program had indicated "strong" rare earth grades. Moreover, the site is a relatively advanced Rare Earths project, with light and heavy rare earths.
These rare earths include dysprosium, terbium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, and yttrium. The ASX-listed shares of AHK were trading at AU$0.23 at the time of writing on 3 April 2023. The market cap of the mineral exploration company is over AU$10 million.
