West Perth, Australia-based MinRex Resources Limited (ASX:MRR) is an ASX listed exploration company, incorporated in May 2011, with a key interest in the development of gold and base metal deposits in Western Australia and tin in Tasmania.
MinRex Resources is currently focussed on accelerating works at its five key projects.

Four located within Western Australiaâs East Pilbara region namely, the Daltons Gold Project, the Bamboo Creek Gold Project, the Marble Bar North Gold Project and the Marble Bar South Gold Project. The fifth is the Deflector Extended Gold Project located in Cagacaroon Hills area at Gullewa in the Yalgoo Mineral Field, ~ 370 km north of Perth in Western Australia.

Dr James Ellingford - PhD, MBA (Non-Executive Chairman)
Dr Ellingford holds a Post Graduate degree in Corporate Management, Masters in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Management. He joined MinRex Resources after having previously served as the International Executive President of a multi-billion-dollar NASDAQ business TakeTwo Interactive Software, which is headquartered in Geneva and New York (TTWO).
Dr Ellingford has extensive and decades of international experience. As a result, he also has close ties with financial institutions and governments of different countries in the world. Apart from the corporate experience, Dr Ellingford has also lectured MBA students in corporate governance, ethics and marketing at a leading Sydney University which are all areas that he maintains a keen interest in, to date.
Mr Simon Durack â B.Comm, Post Grad Dip Bus, FCA, FGIA, JP (Executive Director)
Mr Durack is a Chartered Accountant and practicing Company Secretary, with over 30 years of commercial experience gained from working in Australia, South East Asia and Europe. During his tenure, he served in the Accounting department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, formerly known as Coopers & Lybrand. Over the years, he has held several senior financial as well as secretarial positions with both public and private enterprises.
Moreover, he also acted as the Resident Director for a number of offshore companies having operations across Australia. With that background, Mr Durack brings a strong commercial and financial expertise to the company.
Recently, on 15 April 2019, MinRex announced the appointment of Mr Constantine Tsesmelis to the Board of the company as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Tsesmelis, a Chemical Engineering Consultant, possess over 40 years of technical, managerial and commercial experience in LNG, refining, gas processing, petrochemicals and alternative fuels. He has held senior positions with major oil companies, independent refiners, engineering firms as well as consulting firms in the Middle-East, Europe and Australia.
In 1996, Mr Tsesmelis established his own consulting company, Protos Consulting International Pty Ltd (in Perth) through which he offered advisory services to domestic and international clients, including Australian federal and state government agencies and departments and overseas governments.
In the last few years, he has assisted in the completion of feasibility studies for a number of Coal, Gas and Biomass-to-Liquids projects. In 2015, he established Collie Synfuels Pty Ltd, where he is the Project Director and Managing Director leading a consortium of companies and partnerships, all engaged in the development of two Greenfield Coal-to-Hydrogen projects.
With a market cap of AU$ 1.15 million and ~ 95.88 million outstanding shares, MRR last traded on 31 May 2019, at AU$ 0.012.
