This adjustment brought the total value of its holdings to approximately $85,000.

Changes Among Major Investment Firms

Several other investment firms have also adjusted their positions in Hershey. Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management Company Ltd increased its stake by approximately 1.5% in the fourth quarter, adding 302 shares to reach a total of 20,876 shares. The total estimated value of these holdings stands at $3.5 million.

Similarly, Glassy Mountain Advisors Inc. reported an increase of around 1.8% in its stake during the same period. The firm now owns 28,194 shares, with an estimated value of $4.8 million.

Another notable adjustment comes from Klein Pavlis & Peasley Financial Inc., which expanded its position by 1.5%, reaching a total of 7,182 shares. The firm’s holdings are now valued at approximately $1.2 million.

Additional Institutional Adjustments

Financial Advocates Investment Management made a more significant shift, increasing its holdings in Hershey by over 20% during the fourth quarter. This adjustment added 441 shares, bringing the total to 2,567 shares, valued at around $435,000.

Fruth Investment Management also made minor adjustments, increasing its position by 1.7% and acquiring an additional 535 shares. This brings its total stake to 31,992 shares, with an estimated valuation of $5.4 million.

Collectively, hedge funds and institutional investors hold a notable portion of Hershey’s outstanding shares. As of the latest filings, approximately 58% of Hershey’s stock is controlled by institutional entities.
