Highlights
- JV to accelerate exploration on Badger Lake, near Arrow and Triple R uranium deposits.
- New airborne geophysical and Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) surveys to start mid-November.
- Multi-hole drilling planned for early 2025.
Power Metal Resources plc (LSE:POW), in partnership with UCAM Ltd, is advancing exploration at its uranium-focused properties in Saskatchewan. The joint venture will begin an airborne geophysical survey at Badger Lake, located close to significant uranium deposits. The JV has also engaged Axiom Exploration Group to conduct magnetic and electromagnetic surveys over other properties in the area, including Perch River, East Hawkrock, and West Hawkrock.
An Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey, an innovative approach used by major uranium companies, will be conducted at Badger Lake with the collaboration of Fleet Space Technologies and Axiom, scheduled for mid-to-late November. Additionally, radon, soil, and biogeochemical sampling were completed at Badger Lake in October, with results expected soon.
This comprehensive exploration initiative, including a planned multi-hole drilling campaign in February-March 2025, demonstrates the JV's commitment to advancing its uranium projects and identifying high-value resources in the region.
