Highlights
- Gold Anomalies Discovered: Soil sampling program confirms gold presence east of BAM Gold Project.
- Expanding Potential: 20.8 km of Junior Lake shear zone now covered by soil sampling.
- Upcoming Drilling: 3,500m drilling program set to begin in March 2025.
Landore Resources Limited (LSE:LND) has announced promising results from its 2024 soil sampling program at the Junior Lake property, Ontario, identifying new gold anomalies east of its BAM Gold Project in the Toronto Lake area.
New Gold Targets Identified
Conducted in Autumn 2024, the program covered 3 km² along a 2.8 km stretch east of previous surveys, with 255 soil samples collected. The findings suggest a potential extension of the BAM Gold deposit or the presence of a complementary gold system.
This latest sampling builds upon previous studies from 2019-2023, confirming gold potential along the Junior Lake shear zone, which runs for over 30 km across Landore’s property.
Next Steps and Upcoming Drilling
- Q1 2025: Results expected from an independent BAM Gold structural assessment and historical drill core analysis to refine the geological model.
- March 2025: A 3,500m drilling campaign will start at BAM Gold to:
- Improve understanding of orebody structure.
- Enhance resource confidence in grade, size, and continuity.
- Test down-dip potential for deeper gold extensions.
With a significant exploration pipeline and expanding gold targets, Landore Resources continues to advance BAM Gold’s growth potential within the highly prospective Junior Lake region.
