Great Western Mining Corporation PLC, a company in the LSE mining sector, has finalized an acreage pooling agreement with Bronco Creek Exploration. This new partnership is set to focus on copper exploration within the Eastside Mine group of claims located in Mineral County, Nevada.
Details of the Agreement
The agreement involves pooling the Eastside Mine claims, situated about 11 miles southeast of Great Western Mining Corporation PLC (LSE:GWMO)’s primary exploration site in the Huntoon Valley, with Bronco Creek’s adjacent Tango Project. The combined area, known as the "Pooled Project," will be managed by Bronco Creek, which will work on advancing the identified porphyry copper target in the region.
Under the terms of the agreement, Great Western will retain a 30% interest in the pooled project, while Bronco Creek will hold a 70% stake. Despite pooling their resources, the two companies will maintain ownership of their respective claims, and the arrangement will not constitute a formal joint venture.
Company Statements
Brian Hall, chairman of Great Western Mining, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration: “We are very pleased to be working with Bronco Creek on this project. We have long considered the Eastside Mine to be a valuable asset. Recent IP surveys over the area have identified promising drill targets. By pooling our acreage into a larger unit and partnering with a well-resourced company, we are following our strategy of securing project-level funding without relying on shareholders.”
Implications of the Agreement
This partnership is expected to enhance the exploration and development capabilities for copper resources in the pooled area. With Bronco Creek’s operational management and resources, the project aims to advance the exploration of the porphyry target effectively.
Great Western Mining’s new agreement with Bronco Creek Exploration marks a significant development in its copper exploration efforts. The pooling of claims and resources is intended to leverage the expertise and capacity of both companies while maintaining individual ownership of their respective assets.
