On Thursdayâs trading session, the UKâs broader equity index the FTSE 100 index snapped most of its gains accumulated in the previous two trading sessions, as it plummeted approximately 1.5% to 7,420.77, and the UKâs mid-cap gauge, the FTSE 250 gave up approximately 166.0 points or 0.76% to 21,632.30.
Meanwhile, the FTSE AIM Indices followed the path of the UKâs main indices, as the FTSE AIM 100 tumbled 40.0 points or 0.80% to 4,935.33 and FTSE AIM All-Share Index slumped 5.68 points or 0.59% to 963.95.
However, despite a decline in the benchmark FTSE AIM Indices, there were several AIM counters which significantly moved against the prevailing trend in the broader indexes, and at the same time there were also several pockets in which outperformed the benchmarks.
