Shires Income Plc’s NAV for H1 FY20 increases by 2%

  • Shires Income Plc (SHRS) has released half-yearly financial report for the six months ended 30 September 2019.
  • Net asset value (NAV) per share increased by 2 per cent 270.73p as on 30 September 2019, as compared to 265.49p as on 31 March 2019.
  • The Company's NAV total return for the six-month period ended 30 September 2019 was 4.7 per cent ahead of the total return of 4.6 per cent from the Company's benchmark, the FTSE All-Share Index.
  • During the reported period the Investment Manager sold out its remaining position in Nordea Bank, while it acquired a holding in Rentokil.
