The costs incurred in the normal course of business are known as business expenses. In the income statement of a company, business expenses are deducted from the revenue to arrive at Net taxable income of the business. Membership dues, Subscriptions expense, Insurance costs, Interest Expense, Utility expenses are some of the examples of business expenses.
