As per the deal, Canopy Growth will fully withdraw its ownership in Canopy Rivers, which is currently at a 27 percent stake, nearly 84 percent of voting rights. Canopy Rivers will receive a cash payment of C$ 115 million and 3.75 million shares in Canopy Growth.
