Mattr Corp. (TSX:MATR) has announced the successful closure of its acquisition of AmerCable Incorporated ("AmerCable") from Nexans USA Inc. (EPA: NEX) for a purchase price of US$280 million. This acquisition, which now forms part of Mattr’s Connection Technologies reporting segment, marks a significant expansion of the company’s capabilities in the highly engineered wire and cable industry. AmerCable’s products will complement Mattr’s existing portfolio, solidifying its position as a leader in the North American market.
