Highlights
- Golden Pursuit Resources has reported the discovery of two new mineralized zones at its Myrt Lake and Kidney Pond properties in the Northwest Territories.
- New assay results at Myrt Lake returned up to 25.2 g/t gold and 133 g/t silver.
- A new showing at Kidney Pond returned 16.05 g/t gold, 18.65 g/t silver, and 1.51% copper, suggesting polymetallic potential.
- The latest results fulfill assessment report requirements to maintain Golden Pursuit’s federal and territorial claims through 2033.
- The company plans follow-up geophysical surveys and confirmatory drilling to validate and expand the new mineralization zones.
Golden Pursuit Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GDP), a Canadian exploration company, is focused on advancing high-grade gold assets across the Northwest Territories (NWT), Canada, and Nevada, USA. The company owns 11 mineral properties, five of which are classified as “former producers” by the NWT government. These projects have a long history of exploration and small-scale mining dating back to the 1930s. Golden Pursuit holds full ownership of its deposits and prospects, subject only to certain royalty obligations on a few purchased claims in the NWT.
Flagship Focus: The Gordon Lake Gold Property
The company’s primary focus is on the Gordon Lake Property, situated approximately 80–90 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. Covering an area of 6,850 hectares, the project includes 18 territorial claims, 13 federal claims, and five historic mining leases—all fully owned by Golden Pursuit. The Gordon Lake Project lies within a prolific gold-bearing district and hosts multiple high-grade gold showings with a history of exploration and underground development extending from 1937 through the late 1980s.
New Discoveries Strengthen 2025 Exploration Momentum
Golden Pursuit has recently announced the discovery of two new mineralized targets during its 2025 exploration campaign on the Myrt Lake and Kidney Pond properties within the Gordon Lake district. These discoveries are based on new assay results submitted with the 2025 Myrt Lake and Kidney Pond Assessment Reports, meeting the requirements for maintaining the company’s federal and territorial claims and leases until 2033.

The assay results highlight the project’s gold potential and suggest the presence of polymetallic mineralization within the Gordon Lake mining district, adding further exploration potential, as stated by the company.
Established Exploration Base and Path to Development
All exploration permits, including First Nations approvals, are valid through 2030. Looking ahead, the planned construction of a 30-kilometer all-weather road connecting Gordon Lake to Tibbit Lake is expected to reduce exploration and drilling costs.
Golden Pursuit has already conducted several modern exploration initiatives, including LiDAR surveying, litho-structural mapping, rock sampling, geophysical IP and magnetic surveys, and 3D geological modelling. These efforts continue to advance the understanding of the district’s mineral potential and position the company for future drilling and resource development activities.
