The licence was awarded by the Ministry of Minerals and Energy, following an application submitted by the company in December, and was finalized in less than nine months. The licence is valid for a period of 15 years, with the possibility of renewal for up to an additional 10 years, in accordance with Botswana’s Mines and Minerals Act. This approval marks a significant development for the K.Hill project and for Giyani Metals Corp (TSXV:EMM).

Charles FitzRoy, Chief Executive Officer of Giyani Metals Corp, acknowledged the Ministry of Minerals and Energy and the Department of Mines for their efficiency and professionalism throughout the licensing process. Next Steps: Definitive Feasibility Study
In parallel with securing the licence, Giyani Metals Corp is advancing a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the K.Hill project. The DFS, expected to be completed in 2025, will include updated estimates of mineral resources and project optimizations.
