Highlights
- TomaGold reported multiple zinc-equivalent intersections across two drill holes at the Berrigan property.
- Globex Mining retains a 2% Gross Metal Royalty over the Berrigan claims in the Chibougamau camp.
- Additional drill assays and geophysical surveys are underway to test extensions of the mineralized zone.
Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX:GMX) has provided an update to shareholders following the release of new drill results by TomaGold Corporation from the Berrigan claims in Québec’s Chibougamau mining camp. The property is subject to a 2% Gross Metal Royalty held by Globex, linking the company to recent zinc, silver and gold mineralization intersected during ongoing exploration activity.
Royalty Interest Linked to New Drill Intersections
TomaGold Corporation released assay results on December 22, 2025, confirming zinc, silver and gold mineralization intersected during drilling on the Berrigan property. Globex Mining Enterprises holds a 2% Gross Metal Royalty on the claims, providing exposure to exploration outcomes without direct operational involvement.
The Berrigan claims are located within the established Chibougamau mining camp, an area known for polymetallic mineralization. The latest drilling focused on defining the extent and continuity of a known mineralized envelope.
High-Grade Zinc-Equivalent Results Reported
Among the reported results, drill hole TOM-25-009 returned several notable intersections. From a depth of 156.70 metres, the hole intersected 48.05 metres grading 6.68% zinc equivalent, including higher-grade intervals of 39.03% zinc equivalent over 2.90 metres and 21.86% zinc equivalent over 5.40 metres.
A deeper intersection in the same hole, from 244.50 metres, returned 15.20 metres at 5.44% zinc equivalent, including 25.15% zinc equivalent over 2.55 metres.
Drill hole TOM-25-010 also intersected mineralization, reporting 48.30 metres at 2.67% zinc equivalent from 130.70 metres depth, including a higher-grade section of 12.87% zinc equivalent over 6.25 metres.
TomaGold noted that reported intervals represent core lengths, with estimated true widths ranging from approximately 80% to 85%, depending on drill hole orientation.
Ongoing Exploration and Survey Work
Beyond the disclosed drill results, TomaGold has completed five additional drill holes targeting lateral and depth extensions of the mineralized envelope. These holes are currently pending assay results.
In parallel, a borehole electromagnetic survey is underway, aimed at identifying new conductive targets in proximity to the current mineralization. This geophysical work is intended to refine follow-up drilling targets and improve understanding of the subsurface structure.
A longitudinal section outlining known mineralization and completed drill holes has been released to support the exploration update.
Implications for Globex Mining Portfolio
Globex Mining Enterprises maintains a diversified portfolio of royalties, options and mineral assets across North America and internationally. The Berrigan royalty provides exposure to exploration success in the Chibougamau camp, with potential future relevance should the project advance through additional drilling and evaluation stages.
