Rush Gold Corp (CSE:RGN), an American-focused mineral exploration company, is advancing its Skylight and Legal Tender properties in Nevada’s Republic Mining District, a region with a history of gold and silver production. The company listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange on June 23, 2025, and is currently trading at CAD 0.18 (as of January 27, 2026), reflecting a 28.57% gain from its IPO level, as it advances a Nevada-centred exploration strategy across a historically active mining camp.
IPO Success and Funding Structure
Last year, Rush Gold raised CAD 450,000 through an initial public offering of 4.5 million shares priced at CAD 0.10 per share. The funding provided capital to advance exploration programs while limiting share dilution. The company has described the structure as sufficient to initiate fieldwork and technical studies without placing pressure on its equity base.
Exploration Programs and Field Activities
In November 2025, Rush Gold announced the mobilization of geological field crews and the commencement of WorldView-3 satellite alteration image acquisition across its Legal Tender and Skylight properties. The two properties are located approximately 3 kilometres apart and sit around 60 kilometres northwest of Tonopah, Nevada, within the Royston Hills Republic Mining District.
The program follows earlier disclosures, outlining plans for deeper investigation across both properties. Fieldwork is designed to assess existing gold and silver rock and soil geochemical anomalies and verify satellite-identified alteration zones. These zones may indicate the footprint of a low-sulphidation gold-silver epithermal system.
Skylight Project: Historical Gold & Silver
Rush Gold’s flagship asset, the Skylight Property spans approximately 330 acres in the southern portion of the Republic Mining District. The district is noted for small, high-grade silver epithermal deposits. Mining activity in the area dates back to 1905, with the Cirac (Orizaba) Mine becoming the district’s dominant producer between 1913 and 1918, generating USD 128,000 in high-grade silver ore.
Additional workings in the southern district include the Cole Spring Mine, which operated intermittently into the 1980s. Historical and promotional references indicate gold mineralization associated with galena in parts of the district.
Legal Tender: Strategic Acquisition
In September 2025, Rush Gold announced entering into an option agreement with Silver Range Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:SNG) to acquire a 100% interest in the Legal Tender Property. The historic silver-gold project lies approximately 62 kilometres northwest of Tonopah and about 3 kilometres north of the Skylight Project.
The Legal Tender Property covers much of the Republic Mining District and includes historic workings such as the Farris, Hyland and Black Butte mines, along with multiple shafts and adits. The district saw limited production in the early 1900s.
Market Trends and Forward Work
Rush Gold continues to advance its Nevada assets against a backdrop of heightened interest in precious metals. CEO Anthony Zelen noted that this is an ideal time to advance the company’s early-stage, Nevada-based precious metals property.
A Phase One exploration program is currently in development, targeting geophysical and geochemical anomalies identified across the company’s land package. The program is expected to focus on early-stage data collection aimed at refining exploration targets across the district-scale project area.
