Glenstar Minerals (CSE:GSTR) Begins Drilling at Wildhorse Project Following Promising Gold Assays

Highlights

  • Glenstar Minerals has commenced Phase 1 drilling at the Wildhorse Project.
  • Assays from the Coca Cola Zone returned gold values of up to 23.6 g/t within an oxidized structural trend.
  • Copper mineralization averaging approximately 1% was recorded alongside gold in the same structure.
  • Six drill sites have been planned at the Coca Cola Zone, with seven drill sites approved at the Rattlesnake Zone.
  • The full drilling campaign across both zones is expected to be completed within 21 days.

Glenstar Minerals Inc. (CSE:GSTR) (OTCQB:GSTRF) (FRA:VO20) has kicked off Phase 1 drilling at its Wildhorse Project in Mineral County, Nevada, following high-grade gold assays from trenching at the Coca Cola Zone, including a standout assay of 23.6 g/t gold. The results also highlighted encouraging copper mineralization.

Together with these findings and the commencement of the six-drill-site program, the company is now advancing efforts to evaluate the broader mineralised potential of the project.

High-Grade Gold Identified in Coca Cola Zone

Assay results from trenching at the Coca Cola Zone have revealed elevated gold concentrations, including a sample measuring 23.6 g/t gold. The mineralization occurs within deep red oxidized material within an east-west trending structural zone. This oxidized zone has been identified in a belt that has a strike length of at least 100 meters.

The geological characteristics of the host rock have not yet been confirmed. However, the observed structural trend and gold-rich style have been prioritised for follow-up drilling as part of the Phase 1 drilling plan.

Copper Presence Adds Interest

In addition to gold, assay data indicated an average copper content of approximately 1% within the same oxidized structure and is interpreted to be of significant interest.

Results from a second trench located downslope returned limited mineralization, suggesting either the termination of the trend at that point or a change in its orientation. This information is being used to guide drill targeting further east along the identified structure.

Phase 1 Drilling Program Underway

Drilling operations have commenced at the Wildhorse Project, with Midnight Sun Drilling Inc. mobilising to the site late last week. The Phase 1 program includes six permitted drill sites at the Coca Cola Zone, with each site expected to host an initial hole targeting depths of up to 500 feet.

The program allows for additional drill holes at each site at different angles from surface if mineralization is encountered, with the aim of determining its extent and trend of mineralisation. Following completion at Coca Cola, drilling will shift to the Rattlesnake Zone. The drilling campaign is anticipated to be completed in 21 days.

Rattlesnake Zone to Test Polymetallic Potential

Seven drill sites have been approved for the Rattlesnake Zone, located approximately 1,600 feet northeast of Coca Cola. This area has shown historical sampling results including silver values exceeding 100 g/t, along with gold, copper, antimony, and tungsten mineralisation.

At Rattlesnake, each site is expected to be drilled to depths ranging from 300 to 500 feet. Initial drilling at these locations will include vertical holes designed to follow the north-south mineralization trend identified in earlier fieldwork. Additional angled drilling may be undertaken depending on results. The zone is being evaluated for its down-dip extension.

Project Scope and Background

The project spans 89 mineral claims covering approximately 1,780 acres in Nevada. Earlier fieldwork identified quartz vein systems containing gold, copper, and antimony, along with surface indications of tungsten and bismuth. These findings support the classification of the project as a polymetallic exploration target.

The latest assay results and the start of drilling activities mark a new phase of exploration at the Wildhorse Project. As drilling progresses across identified zones, the program is expected to provide further geological data to guide ongoing assessment of mineralization across the property.

GSTR shares traded at CAD 0.30 per share on 15 April 2026.
