Glenstar Minerals Inc. (CSE: GSTR, OTCQB: GSTRF, FRA: VO20) has reported assay results from its Phase 2 drill program at the Green Monster Project in Nevada, revealing a geologically complex polymetallic system that continues to extend mineralisation identified in earlier work.
Drilling Extends Mineralised Trend
The Phase 2 program comprised six drill holes, reaching depths between 500 feet and 585 feet, with total drilling of approximately 3,320 feet across three drill pads. The drilling intersected multiple polymetallic zones along the same trend line identified during the Phase 1 campaign.
The company noted that the drilled sections contained highly fractured rock, accompanied by clay alteration, oxide minerals, and decalcification features. These geological characteristics indicate an active mineral system, though assay grades were reported below initial expectations at this stage of exploration.
Complex Structure Raises New Questions
Assay results confirmed that the project area is significantly mineralised but structurally complex. The presence of fractured zones, alteration patterns, and oxide minerals suggests multiple geological processes influencing mineral distribution.
According to the company, the findings have shifted the focus toward improving geological understanding before advancing further drilling decisions.
Geophysical Survey Planned
To address these uncertainties, Glenstar intends to deploy a Terean geophysical survey. This method is designed to map structural features such as faults, identify alteration zones, and determine the depth to competent rock.
The survey is also expected to assist in identifying paleochannels, overburden thickness, and zones of fracturing that may indicate larger fault systems. The company stated that the results from this survey will guide the design of the next exploration phase.
Project Background and Historical Work
The Green Monster Property consists of 35 federal lode claims covering approximately 700 acres in Clark County, Nevada, around 40 miles southwest of Las Vegas. Prior to drilling in May 2025, the project had not undergone any subsurface exploration.
Initial work conducted in 2022 included geological mapping, surface sampling, soil sampling, and a drone magnetic survey. These activities identified nickel-copper mineralisation with anomalous cobalt, supporting the case for follow-up drilling.
Channel sampling from historical workings returned results including 1.18 metres grading 3.77% copper, 3.06% nickel, 0.21% cobalt, and 6.83% zinc. Additional sampling confirmed elevated zinc and silver levels, along with the presence of copper, uranium, and lead in both oxide and sulphide materials.
