Scoping Study Framework and Technical Oversight
The Scoping Study will assess the viability of producing fine flake graphite concentrate. The work will evaluate the technological processes suitable for Australian operational conditions. GR Engineering Services, trading under (ASX:GNG), has been selected to oversee this phase. Michael Rodriguez, a metallurgist from the firm, has been appointed as the study manager.
The scope includes evaluating processing facility development at the Leliyn site, with prior metallurgical testwork already completed by Independent Metallurgical Operations. These findings will support the current study framework and contribute to mine design and scheduling, tasks expected to be delivered by Auralia Mining Consulting.
Resource Definition and Exploration Planning
Kingsland Minerals reports that the Leliyn Graphite Project hosts a defined resource across two categories: indicated and inferred. The company plans to utilise the existing data for planning and infrastructure design, while also assessing the merit of advancing exploration. If the study outcomes align with expectations, the company may review plans for further drilling to expand indicated resources at the site.
The focus remains on resource classification and mineral processing options, in line with requirements for downstream supply within industrial-grade applications such as battery anodes and energy storage systems.
