Highlights:
Minerals 260 receives strong assay results from early drilling at Bullabulling
Thick gold intercepts reported from Phoenix deposit
Extensive drilling underway with rigs active across key targets
Minerals 260 (ASX:MI6), listed on the ASX 200 index, is progressing its strategy within the gold exploration sector through significant drilling efforts at the Bullabulling project in Western Australia. The company operates within granted mining leases located near Kalgoorlie-Boulder and has confirmed substantial gold intercepts during its early drilling efforts.
The exploration initiative follows a focused plan to investigate depth extensions and strike continuity across the project’s mine sequence. Bullabulling, which currently hosts a mineral resource under the JORC 2012 framework, includes several resource targets, with the Phoenix deposit as a primary area of focus.
Significant Drill Results from Maiden Campaign
The company’s first set of assay results has returned thick gold intersections from the initial drill holes. These results, derived from reverse circulation and diamond drilling techniques, are part of a broader program that will eventually include numerous holes across the property. Drilling has so far concentrated on extending known mineralisation at Phoenix, which is already one of the largest zones at Bullabulling.
All rigs are now operational on site following the completion of heritage clearances. The drilling campaign is also exploring footwall zones for the presence of stacked mineralised lodes, adding another layer to the current exploration efforts.
Extensive Resource Update in Progress
Data collected from the ongoing campaign will feed into an updated mineral resource estimate scheduled for release later this year. The updated estimate will incorporate results from the current drilling initiative, aimed at enhancing resource definition and understanding of the broader deposit geometry.
The Bullabulling project’s location and historical significance provide a strong foundation for continued work. With consistent intercepts being reported, the geological setting continues to validate expectations for a large-scale resource.
Ongoing Exploration Across Multiple Zones
In addition to the Phoenix deposit, the company’s exploration strategy includes drilling across several other zones within the project’s footprint. A combination of reverse circulation and diamond core methods is being used to test both known mineralised areas and previously underexplored sections.
Minerals 260 has completed dozens of holes covering several kilometres of drilling to date, with further results pending from ongoing lab assays. The campaign forms part of an aggressive exploration schedule set to span several months.
