Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM) continues exploration success across Riverina, Waihi, and Little Gem prospects
Riverina Deeps drilling supports high-grade continuity at depth, with mineralisation still open
Waihi and Little Gem prospects show new mineralised zones and extensive strike coverage
Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX:OBM), (OTC:ESGFF), a player in the Australian gold sector, reported new high-grade drill intersections from three key sites in Western Australia. These include Riverina Deeps, Waihi, and Little Gem, part of the broader Davyhurst Gold Project. The exploration update arrives as the gold segment shows movement within the ASX 200, tracking global commodity momentum and sector-specific progress.
The company is advancing multiple drilling programs across surface and underground sites, with ten rigs currently in operation. The consistent recovery of mineralised cores supports further geological work across all three zones.
Riverina Deeps Yields Consistent High-Grade Results
At Riverina Deeps, Ora Banda has completed substantial drilling between moderate and deep subsurface levels. The program has delivered gold intersections over extended depths, reinforcing structural continuity within the mineralised corridor.
The mineralisation appears linked to a shear zone marked by complex structural features, sulphidation, and the presence of free gold. The results to date indicate the mineralised system remains open below the deepest tested levels, with work continuing to define its full extent.
Waihi Unveils a New Footwall Zone
At Waihi, a drilling program comprised of several holes intersected a new mineralised structure located in the footwall of the main lode. One intersection stood out at depth, uncovering a gold-rich section with multiple lodes and clear structural definition.
The zone remains open in multiple directions, and further exploration has been scheduled to delineate its boundaries. Waihi’s geological features and mineralisation patterns are aligned with the company's broader underground mining plans, contributing to long-term project development considerations.
Little Gem Drilling Confirms Strike Continuity
The Little Gem prospect, connected to Sunraysia within the same regional corridor, has been tested with wide-spaced reconnaissance drilling. Early results have confirmed the presence of mineralisation along a substantial strike length.
All carbonate units encountered during initial drilling returned gold values. These findings validate the geological model for the area and highlight its importance in the company’s broader exploration framework. Further drilling is planned to enhance the structural understanding and continuity of gold-bearing horizons.
Ongoing Activity Across Multiple Drill Fronts
Ora Banda is maintaining a high operational tempo across its exploration portfolio, with ten drill rigs – split evenly between surface and underground efforts – active across its Western Australian tenements. The combined drilling efforts continue to generate high core recovery volumes, allowing for rapid assessment of geological features and gold distribution.
With exploration spanning established and early-stage prospects, Ora Banda is building a diverse pipeline of mineralised zones. Each area is being explored for depth extensions, lode repetition, and structural complexity, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance project scale and long-term feasibility.
The company’s efforts are aligned with sector-wide momentum in gold exploration, with new zones being tested and refined across both mature and emerging assets. Ora Banda’s work across Riverina, Waihi, and Little Gem continues to add valuable geological insight to its regional footprint.
