An initial 10,000 vouchers will be offered exclusively for seniors, with the remaining 140,000 vouchers becoming accessible to all Victorians on 23 March.

Both travel vouchers could be used concurrently with Melbourne's new creative and late-night capital event, inspired by Europe's Night of Museums. The city's cultural institutions will unite on the dynamic paid and free activities program.

The launch of Art After Dark Melbourne, which is anticipated to infuse millions of dollars into the economy as many tourists descend on Melbourne's CBD, was proposed by Danny Pearson, Victorian Minister for Creative Industries.
