Thomas Cook has opened for bookings, despite challenges faced by the pandemic crisis that have created severe breakdowns and losses for the sector. They claim that it will be only selling flights and holidays to destinations that won't be covered by the UK's quarantine restrictions and launch even after being aware of the crisis.
Reports say that plans for new multi-billion pound nuclear power plant in North Wales have been scrapped. The city had hopes that the situation could get better for the economy as thousands of jobs would be created with the big project. It is the government that finances these projects, to fund future energy needs but here, it leaves most ordinary citizens in this country bewildered.
The government claims their furloughing program shall end on 31 October. A spokesperson said that they will not hesitate to find effective ways to support jobs. Although the government has been urged by business groups and political opponents to continue the furloughing programme where workers on leave receive 80% of their pay, up to a certain amount a month.
