Royal Mail Plc’s (LON:RMG) postal workers for the first time will collect parcels from the doorstep.

Under the new parcel collect service, during Monday to Saturday postal workers will collect up to five items per customer per day, for a specific size which would be limited to 20kg in weight. There has been a surge in online shopping, and the company is adapting to the change to raise profitability as letter volume has declined.
