How did the UK-based industrial equipment rental company Ashtead performed in 2021?

Blue-chip stocks, or those stocks belonging to the FTSE 100 index, are often considered to hold less risk compared to midcap, small cap and other types of stocks by investors. *The group’s revenue during the period rose by 18 per cent to US$ 3.8 billion, compared to US$ 3.2 billion. And its rental revenue during the period increased by 20 per cent to US$ 3.5 billion, up from US$ 2.9 billion. *The group’s adjusted profit before tax increased by 42 per cent to US$ 979 million during the period, up from US$ 687 million in the year before. Ashtead increased its interim dividend, in the first half of 2021, by 28 per cent to 12.5 cents per share.
